guided waking tour of the beautiful University District
located in Detroit, MI. The University District encompasses almost
every popular house style of the early 20th century from
Tudor to colonial revival to streamlined art moderne. On
this 3/4 mile walk through one of Detroit's best
neighborhoods, see examples of each style, learn the
language of architectural details, peek into backyard
gardens, and hear stories of Detroiters past and present

Starting in 2009, the guided walk will be offered on the second Saturday
of each month from May through October from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. A
charge of $10 per person will help offset costs and support the UDCA
